Together they support the skin's own renewal, and the treatment is chosen for texture, enlarged pores, acne scarring and early laxity. It is performed by a qualified professional after a skin consult, at our full clinic.

What to expect

• A skin consult first, to confirm the treatment suits you
• Numbing options discussed for comfort
• Treatment over the face, about 75 minutes in total
• Redness similar to a mild sunburn for a day or two

Before your appointment

• Avoid retinol, strong acids and sun for a week before
• Tell us about any medications, cold sores or skin conditions

Aftercare

• Gentle cleanser and a barrier cream for the first few days
• No makeup for 24 hours
• Daily sunscreen

Questions

How many sessions will I need? Most plans use a course of 3, spaced about 4 weeks apart. Your provider will advise.

Is there downtime? Expect redness for a day or two. Most people return to work the next day.
