Saffron Facial Oil

Real saffron in squalane and jojoba, in the kumkumadi tradition.

Kumkumadi oil has been made in India for centuries: saffron steeped in oil, used at night, passed down rather than marketed. Saffron is one of the most adulterated spices in the world, and many oils sold under that name contain very little of it.

Ours contains real Crocus sativus, infused into the oil and named in the ingredient list. The carrier is squalane and jojoba, lighter than the heavy sesame bases of the originals, so it absorbs rather than sits.

Fragrance-free, with no mineral oil. Three to four drops is the whole ritual.

How to use

• At night, press 3 to 4 drops into clean, slightly damp skin.
• Use after the serum, and before or instead of the cream, depending on how dry your skin feels.
• Also works as a beard oil and a cuticle oil.
• Pair with the Rose Quartz Gua Sha for slip.

Squalane, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Crocus Sativus (Saffron) Flower Extract, Tocopherol.

Contains sesame.
